About a samurai who battles with large armor called Tetsuki or iron machines. The story follows a teen named Kotetsu Kisaragi, who meets the daughter of an ironsmith named Suzuno. At her home, he witnesses a suspicious group of evil demons that threaten her.

The 00V features different variations of the Mobile Suit from the series, and provides the stories about them in every chapter ("volumes"). The earlier stories of the 00V were told from Robert Spacey's perspective based on his encounters with different mobile suits during the height of Celestial Being's armed operations. The perspective of the stories later shifts to different characters, providing their side of the story behind the development and the operation of some of the mobile suits given in 00V.

Johnny Ridden survived through the fierce battle of A Baoa Qu although his MS-14B Gelgoog High Mobility Type was badly damaged by the FA-78-1 Gundam Full Armor Type's overwhelming firepower. With the aid of a comrade, he reached a Dolos-class carrier where he was reunited with his MS-06R-2 Zaku II High Mobility Type, which was modified by a mechanic and nicknamed the MS-06R-2 Zaku II High Mobility Type "Full Bullet Zaku".

Supersonic Fingers is the first Gunnm Gaiden story, it takes place shortly after Gally's fight with Jashugan. Gally is attacked by an unknown sniper, and while she recouperates, her hunter-warrior friends search for the culprit. The culprit is a strong fighter with a death wish that only Gally can fufill. The Holy Knight is the second Gunnm Gaiden story, Homecoming is the third, but takes places immediately before The Holy Knight. Before he met Gally, Ido worked as a hunter-warrior to make ends meet. Although a skilled doctor, he had no skill in the areas of cybernetics. He saves and befriends a young, mysterious girl, whom he names Carol. During their time together Ido learns the art of cyber-medicine, and starts his cyber-doc practice, but Carol's past catches up with her and Ido learns a painful lesson about medicine(https://kodansha.us/series/battle-angel-alita-holy-night/)

The events chronicled in this manga are also depicted in its own campaign in the Gundam: Meguriai Sora game for Playstation 2 (released in the US as Gundam: Encounters in Space), as well as a novel by Kazuki Miyamoto. Some of the characters are seen briefly in Mobile Suit Gundam: Lost War Chronicles manga.

Dino Getter is a manga series by Kazumi Hoshi for the 40th anniversary of Getter Robo. It introduces the Dino Getter Robo in an original eight chapter story about a battle between the Dinosaur Empire.

Updating

An official Japanese manga adaptation for the series was written by Atsushi Baba and serialized in Monthly Comic Zero Sum. As of 2006, Baba has finished development of Episode I's adaptation and is currently working on Episode II.
